Boarding Kennel Hours Monday – Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm/2:00pm – 5:00pm
Saturday/Sunday drop off and pick up times 9:00am – 12:00pm or 3:00pm – 4:00pm

Please note: Lone Mountain Boarding is not a 24-hour facility. Your pet will be in their kennel, safely, by themselves from approximately 6:30 pm until 7:30 am. No drop-offs or pick-ups are available on major holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Nevada Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas.

Vaccination Policy: To insure the protection of all pets under our care, the following vaccines must be up to date: Dogs (DA2PP, Rabies, Bordetella (kennel cough) and CIV (canine influenza)), Cats (FVRCP, Rabies), and Ferrets (FERVAC, Rabies) *

Photo Release:

I hereby grant LMVH permission to share any photos, videos or other digital media of my pet(s) in all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration. I also understand and agree that all photos will become the property of LMVH and will not be returned.
I decline any photos, videos of my pet to be used in ANY of LMVH's publication, including web-based publications.

Medical Illness Policy: One of the advantages of boarding your pet(s) at a veterinary hospital is that veterinary attention is readily available should the need arise. Recently the Nevada State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners has held veterinary hospitals that offer boarding to a higher standard of care than other types of boarding facilities. If your pet’s condition changes while in the boarding facility a veterinarian will perform a physical exam. The fee for an exam on all pets is $62.00. We will then call the emergency numbers listed above regarding your pet's health symptoms with treatment options and an estimate of additional costs. However, if no one can be reached please indicate your wishes below should your pets require treatment to relieve immediate discomfort or to resolve an important medical condition. *

If my pet presents any vomit/diarrhea during their stay, I authorize a DVM to give my pet an exam (if needed) and prescribe a probiotic if they feel it is necessary.
DO NOT administer any medical treatment other than a physical exam until specific authorization has been given. I understand the veterinarian CANNOT perform any medical treatment on my pet by initialing this.

Kennel Cough Waiver: Pets boarding at Lone Mountain are required to be vaccinated for Kennel Cough. Your pet should receive this vaccination at least 1 month prior to boarding for MAXIMUM protection. If we are administering the vaccination at the time of kenneling or it has been less than 1month since your pet received the vaccine, your pet is not fully protected. The vaccine is given every year for the best protection. If your pet boards frequently, then contact your veterinarian to discuss if this vaccine should be given every 6 months instead. Please vaccinate early to provide your pet with the maximum protection. *

Personal Belongings Policy: Please understand, while we do allow you to leave your pet's belongings such as food, toys, washable beds & blankets, etc., we CANNOT be held responsible if any of the items are destroyed by your pet or lost during their stay. We try to keep track of all items at all times, but we do have many dogs and cats boarding at any given time and cannot always guarantee your items will be returned. If you wish to leave items we recommend you mark them with your pet's last name in permanent ink. *

Playtime Policy: All dogs at Lone Mountain can be released into fenced exercise yards. They will have close and intimate contact with other dogs. Lone Mountain staff will not knowingly admit into the play area dogs that are obviously aggressive. If however, a dog acts out of character or unpredictably and my dog is injured Lone Mountain's agents and staff will not be held liable in any way for these unforeseen acts. If injury occurs Lone Mountain staff will attempt to contact you. If they are unable to contact you or your emergency contact person we will perform medical treatment necessary. You will be responsible to pay for any of the fees when you pick up your pet from boarding. *

I hereby understand that the pickup cut off time is 12pm and if my animal is not picked up by then I will be charged for that additional day. If I do not pick up my pet on my scheduled date there will be an additional charge of $15.00 per day for each day over the reserved date. *

This is a contract between LMVH and the owner of the listed animals above. The kennel agrees to exercise due and reasonable care, and to keep the kennel premises sanitary and properly enclosed. The animal is to be fed properly and regularly and be housed in clean and safe quarters. By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to all items listed above. *
